There’s a face you learned by heart.
The left ear sits a little lower. The white patch up top grows in crooked. The way the left side of the mouth moves first when they’re happy. You didn’t set out to memorize it. You just had a few thousand ordinary mornings with it.
Then one morning the house is quiet, and it isn’t the quiet that frightens you. It’s the thought that the face might start to blur. That in five years you’ll look at a photo, feel something’s off, and not be able to say what.
That’s the only reason this shop exists.
We engrave the face exactly — the crooked patch, the lower ear, all of it — onto something small enough to carry. Not to turn sadness into jewelry.
Just to keep the face somewhere you can reach.
